About Politics

These are thing's we all should know;

What is Politics?
Politics is mainly the method and process of taking decisions for the group. The word politics integrates all the domestic and international policies. These are mainly the activities of government on state level or national level political affairs. Since these are mainly the activities of government this does not mean that only government is responsible for carrying out all politics or government alone is involved in all political matters or politics is always carried out in national or state level affairs.

As defined in very first line politics is mainly the method and process of taking decisions for the groups. So politics can be from any group any group like politics can be from opposition party of the ruling party. Whenever the issue of protection of rights of group of members rises there the politics enters into scene. Politics can affect our system both ways that is negatively as well as positively. It can affect negatively because many times people leave their jobs due to politics at their workplace which they feel that is just the wastage of time and they should just avoid that it is because they don’t want to waste their time in any other activity except their work. This led to increase of pending of jobs and thus adversely affects the organization. Sometimes people may also leave their jobs which would result in lose of human resource of the company. Sometimes it happens that people form groups at their workplace and do not want others to join their group and also promote members of their own group against the other members and sometimes they may also try to let down the other members which are not from their groups and which may also cause rivalries between groups in the company and thus the workplace becomes the war place. These type of group rivalries are mostly seen in those offices where lot of people work. These types of group rivalries are the main reason for collapse of work in the organization because of non cooperation from all the workers of company. Mainly those workers cause problems who are engaged in group politics. But sometimes this politics can also be useful to groups as well as company. Let’s see how:
Politics can also remove the root cause of misunderstandings between the workers and the top management in the organization. Politics can help to prevent the rights and interests of workers in the company.

Conservative vs. Liberal

Many people do not really understand the difference between a conservative and a liberal. How do you really know which side of the spectrum you fall on? In this article, we are going to explain some of the differences, so that as political figures are discussing conservative and liberal ideals you know exactly what is going on.

The first side of the issue is the conservative side. The conservatives tends to want to preserve things they way they are, for example they dislike change, and do not want things to change in the way the country is run, how people come into power, and how civil rights are handed out. Conservatives appreciate in real terms the importance of building and maintaining the economy to the benefit of society as a whole. Many conservatives are also considered to appreciate having an exclusive inner circle that controls the entire country, although in mainstream politics this is rarely a salient feature.

Many conservatives also live by the ideals that institutions that have been successful rather than dwelling on mistakes. This has the effect of working towards improvement in efficiency, which is another key factor of Conservative thought. Many conservatives do not think technology is our friend; they feel that technology should not be a part of government standards and ideas based on the inefficiency it brings. Many conservatives are also very cautious people, which is reflected in the opinions and decisions of their politics.

Liberals on the other hand are very much different. Most liberals are very open to change, almost to a fault; they do not mind the ideas of change as long as it is for a perceived good cause, even where there is no practical utilitarian upshot. Liberals tend to be willing to take more risks than most conservatives are in the whimsical pursuit of change. Most liberals are also very tolerant of behavior different from their own, as well as they are willing to open their minds to new ideas and concepts easier than the conservative counterparts. Liberals also like to push for change without necessarily having a justification for their actions.

Liberals tend to be very progressively thinking people, whom are quite open to the new ideas of technology in terms of normal daily life, as well as in the role of assisting the government in managing the country to the best of our ability. However, their emphasis on extreme individual freedom means a more distant form of governance that leaves society to regulate itself without much intervention. This has led to numerous political and social problems for liberal governments across the world.

While there are some major differences in the two sides, there are also many people who fall somewhere in the middle. Many people are able to pull their comfort zone from taking pieces of each side. While some people are hesitant of change, they are able to accept change in order to make things better for everyone. For example, women's rights were the result of change. Many conservatives were against the ideals of women being allowed to vote. On the flip side, some liberals are in favor of the legalization of drugs, and are wholeheartedly against government regulation in the way we live our lives.

While there are many differences in the ideals of the two groups, there is also a bond that forges from each side being determined to make life the best possible for the people in the areas with which they are concerned. Neither side sets out to hurt the other side, nor the people they are responsible for helping. There are times when the goals of both sides do come together nicely and result in wonderful progress for our cities, nation, and country as a whole. Looking to the future, we can expect both sides to continue to change and progress as things change and the future becomes reality.

When Everything Change

American history, or really history in general is not always marked with outstanding events, stunning personalities or remarkable speeches. Much of the history of a great nation is slow steady improvement, set backs and then how a people recovers from those set backs. But in the context of American history, there are a number of truly phenomenal moments when everything changed. These are not just one day events, although some are that sudden. But these are events that once they transpired, Americans thought of themselves, the world and their place in the world completely differently. And it’s worth noting what those events were and how they changed Americans forever.

Obviously the revolution itself and the founding of the country changed a small group of colonies who thought of themselves as Englishmen far from home. When the independence of America was done, that vision of ourselves was completely different. We were now a proud new nation, a new type of nationality that had its own view of the world and its own hopes and dreams as well.

World War II was the kind of event that once we underwent the tremendous trial, struggle and victory that such a war demands of a people, we never could go back to seeing ourselves again in the same way as we thought before the war. Our victory against Japan, Germany and their allies gave us tremendous confidence that we could affect world history for the better. But it also gave us a tremendous sense of responsibility. When we dropped those bombs on Japan, everybody on the planet began to understand the horrible power that was now in the hands of mankind, for a season in the hands of America and the huge responsibility for the fate of mankind that came with that kind of power.

Pearl Harbor while part of World War II deserves its own mention because of the fundamental change to how America viewed itself in relation to the world. Prior to that attack, America considered itself invulnerable. Like a teenager that thought they could never be hurt, we had never been attacked on our homeland before. But Japan proved that they not only could attack us but that they could hurt us very badly. Yes, we responded with a fury but from that moment forward, we knew that we, like everybody else in the world, were vulnerable and we had to start behaving differently in a world full of both friends and enemies.

Outside of the military world, the famous I Have a Dream Speech by Dr. Martin Luther King at the March on Washington on August 28, 1963 did not just change the black community forever. Yes, that speech had a mighty impact on the way the African American community saw their future and it gave inspiration and hope to a struggling civil rights movement that spurred it on to victory. But it also affected all Americans because we started to see ourselves as a community of many cultures, many races and many orientations. It was the beginning of acceptance in this country. But that is a process that is far from over.

In modern times, the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 had a drastic effect on the minds and hearts of America and indeed on the world. We are still learning how that effect will finally show itself as the ripples of shock, fear, anxiety and reprisals are still going on. But to be sure, as with Pearl Harbor, the effects on our feelings about our place in the world and our vulnerability were certainly be changed forever.
